$115 NLTRN What do you do when you 3bet and miss
Ok so let's say you 3 bet a small loser (according to sharkscope) and you str8 miss the flop. Let's say you both have 1500 and he makes it 90 and you 3bet to 300 with AQ and he calls it. Now the flop comes K97 rainbow and you are now out of position with 1200 behind and 600 in pot. Your move?

Throw up and bet/fold 1/2 pot.
Edit: I never played on Stars so I don't really know anything about the usual "flow" of the game. Where I play the regular opps are pretty weak and c-betting 1/2 pot seems to work out fine.

well bet folding is a huge leak here for me because i am never getting away with a 300 stab into a 600 pot...forget stars, this is FTP.

Sidenote: I like a little smaller 3bet pf to 270ish.

This is really tough imo and don't really know whats best/standard. I guess it's pretty read dependent but w/o good reads vs a standard donk probably c/f is best. I play on a smaller site and the games are pretty weak there so I usually get a way with a 300 bet [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].

i bet this specific hand 300 and he raised me...i seem to get raised just about every time i make a weakish bet in this spot. Im starting to think I should check and give up here...I mean, shouldnt a check scare him just as much as a weak flop bet? Also it allows me to preserve my stack.
