Default The Real Anna Kournikova: Suited Connectors -Do They Win?

Im sure you have heard the joke-what hand looks good but never wins. A K Anna Kournikova. But what about suited connectors. 8 9 of spades. Have you played these types of hands. What are your results? In other words, have you won or lost a significant amount of money with these "enticing looking" wonders.

I've won $182.32 in my poker career with AKs and $14.11 with the other suited connectors.

Hope that helps.

I Know what i should do but sometimes they entice me to play-to draw to a straight flush. Im only human. That does help Joker. Thanks. Plus im a little bit crazy.

Well the last 3 times I drew to 7-9 of spades and hit the flush, I lost to a higher flush. But still those suited pipers call me to join them.

Over 60k hands:

1.30 ptbb with AK
1.38 ptbb with sc's

The thing you must remember is that with sc's, you have them in your range to give balance to get your monsters paid off. So even if you are not earning as much as you thought, the earnings will be made up by a bigger win rate in big hands (if you play sc's properly aggro that is).
