Default One year to get into Guiness Book

So my friend, father of Ryan Danger Goldberg , has got himself into another ridiculous prop bet and I'd like to help him out. He made a bet with another guy that he could break a world's record within one year's time. It doesn't matter what record it is, as long as he is able to officially break the existing record.

So I ask you OOT - what's his best plan? What record would likely be the easiest to break within a year?

This guy has record for having the most world records. A lot of them are athletic, I'm guessing most people couldn't beat this, although, I have no clue how long a lunge mile would take me. link

just finishing a mile of lunges would be very, very, very difficult, imo, let alone doing it at a reasonable pace.

After a quick look at the site I saw that the largest collection of penguins is a little over 2500. He could probably buy this one.

This seems ridiculously easy.

Largest Dirndl Dress

It would only cost you fabric and some time to make. You could even pay a seamstress to do it. I can't imagine that this would cost more then a few hundred dollars to do.

Also, what are the stakes for this bet?

What hell is a lunge mile?

He's getting odds on his money. Stakes are $10K if he loses, $25K if he wins.

I can't imagine doing lunges for a mile where your knee must touch the ground after each one.

Crazy Germans.

The problem here would be that if you paid a seamstress to do it, she'd probably be the one who'd get in the book. He'd have to learn to use a sewing machine, but this could be done.
