KQo OTB Crypto $109
I've done nothing at all and have ~2300 and villain covers slightly and has done nothing of note either.
Folds to me OTB with KQ and I raise 3x to 150 and villain makes it 450 to go and I call. Anyone like a fold? I like a fold I think but, FWIW, my own sense of his bet-timing and my long and sorry experience of Crytpo suggested to me that I was OK against his range here and would have position. Flop is KTx rainbow. He instantly leads 700. I? |

Re: KQo OTB Crypto $109
Im sure he thought you were trying to steal preflop. I would shove, you are only losing to AK and AA. I wouldnt want to call here and see a dirty turn card.

Re: KQo OTB Crypto $109
BTW, is flat-calling improved/worsened if we plan to shove over a c-bet with a certain frequency when we completely whiff on a raggedy low flop?

[/ QUOTE ] I think if he's the type of player that you can flat-call here he's usually also the type of player you can shove over whiffed flops profitably. |

Yeah, I bring it up because I actually think you NEED to do that occasionally in order to make flat-calling profitable here.

Or cr turn ai when flop is checked through. Or bet the draw/overcards and puke call when he shoves. I'm not convinced that calling is a losing move here but that's a site thing. Anyway, I called because I figured I was ahead most of the time. The board was safe and I think he instaraise/instabet routine is very weak on this flop. That said, it's difficult to see how I then extract any more chips from his pf range of pairs and big aces so I think pushing is the move on this flop. I called. Flop is a rag putting up two hearts and I have K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I have less than PSB left and he checks to me. We clearly shove here? |

Re: KQo OTB Crypto $109
I would def fold after raise PF...but now considering you have hit your flop, you have put yourself in a tough position. Its either a shove or fold with these stacks. Personally I would shove, but dont be surpised to get stacked by AK or AA.

Re: KQo OTB Crypto $109
I would push the flop. Flat calling doesn't make sense with so much already in there.
I would probably 4-bet allin preflop. Pushing, calling, and folding preflop are all OK. I personally don't like to flat call with this kind of hand. |
