I don't think he folds better or continues with worse if you raise the flop. Honestly, i think checking the turn and either calling the river or betting like half pot if it gets checked to you is the best line. This isn't a board you can really stack off with 9s even though he minraised utg. As played, im actually leaning towards a fold although his line is kind of weird, but he doesnt seem concerned about the ace or king hitting which should be helping our calling range out a ton. Especially with the odds you're being given he can't possibly think you're folding anything decent which is why I think this is a fold, since all we realy beat is some complex bluff or something like 78 of diamonds.

I might fold out JJ, QQ on the turn.
I don't want to give overcards a free chance to hit on river.
I shouldn't take a stab at this turn?

What's his went to showdown? I doubt a 53/20 ever folds QQ or JJ to a turn bet. I like TTgirls line, check behind turn to keep the pot small and either call or vbet most rivers.

As played you have to be good about 22% of the time but I really dont think you are so good fold.

(53/20/oo/38) (15h)
wtsd is 38, only 15 hands so this doesn't say anything..
He is unknown basically.

Aha I thought 38 was the amt of hands. Even though it's only 15 hands his VPIP/PFR might well be close to the actual number. Well regardless, it's pretty hard for you to rep a king here and the utg minraise combined with his stats indicate that he's bad so he most likely will not fold those type of hands.

You aren't getting much out of worse hands here anyways. Also, if hero is beat, it's probably better to find out on the flop than to wait until later streets where the betting is bigger and the decisions are tougher.

Raise/folding flop sucks.

Can you not see this line invests almost half your stack only for you to fold.

Not sure about raising pf either, but could be pursuaded. It just seems to make the pot get big when your hand will be difficult to play post flop when you dont hit a set.

The new nlhe book is making me think about spots like this.
