Full Tilt NL10 - Best place to start?
The PLO8 games at this level are looser and there are fewer short stacks.
But I'm learning NL Holdem. I liked playing NL25 before I lost my bankroll (not at NL25). Should I play Omaha until I get about $250 to play NL25 or should I grind it out at NL10? |

Re: Full Tilt NL10 - Best place to start?
It depends if you are better at NL or PLO8
NL25 and NL10 are equally as weak with a few more aggressive players at NL25 (Lagtards et al). I would put in a few hands at NL10 to see if you can make a nice win rate and then give NL25 a try if you aren't playing scared at NL10. If you are better at PLO8 play that with a mix of NL10 for some experience to get your BR up to play NL25. Plus I would have more than 250 bucks in your roll. I have a solid winrate at NL25 and can easily have a 4BI down swing in 1 session.. |

the rake at FT 10nl is much higher (10%) than at other sites/stakes (usually 5%). play somewhere else until you have $500 to play 25nl.

$250 is alright i guess to be taking shots @ 25NL but if you drop a BI i'd move down. grind 10nl

Re: Full Tilt NL10 - Best place to start?
The 10NL rake at FT sucks. I wish I would have paid more attention when I decided to build my bankroll there. That said, it's definitely beatable.
