Re: aa WA/WB
Bet flop. Your hand is still good here almost all of the time.
If you want to raise the turn then raise it properly. PSB here. |

Re: aa WA/WB
Because this particular villain definitely calls with some suspect hands (weaker pps, a seven, maybe a lone ace). Why slowplay against a callstation?

Re: aa WA/WB
meh, i'd rather check flop/bet turn than bet flop/check turn. If you think you can safely get 3 streets of value out of this guy then by all means go ahead, but I think checking flop betting turn is OK.

[ QUOTE ] Bet 2 of flop. [/ QUOTE ] why? [/ QUOTE ] Checking the flop and betting the turn can be a good way to control pot size with AA when you're up against an aggressive, tricky player. In this case, Villain is passive so you bet for value. Then you can bet the turn and easily fold to a c/r on Villain's part. |

Re: aa WA/WB
If you're going for pot control I like betting the flop and checking the turn much better... you'll induce a river bluff this way

Re: aa WA/WB
Don't raise turn then fold river. This is a two streets of betting kind of hand. Get to showdown.
