Re: NL100: SC flops 2pair - what now?
Id raise to about 50. Too many cards can come on the turn that'll give you a tough decision to make if you just call the flop bet.

Play it hard...it's very doubtful he reraised you from the SB with 66-88 or T9. He probably has an overpair. A raise to $50 sounds good to me.

[/ QUOTE ] FYP [/ QUOTE ] yah. that's why calling this flop isnt out of the question IMO. If you call your opponent will surely put you on a PP 99-JJ or a draw. If the turn brings a straight card you wont get any more action -v bad- but if turn bricks villain will bet and be committed. So if you think he can fold an overpair on flop this could be an alternative Shoving flop may get a big hand to fold, and if you raise and get called opponent may shut down on turn unless he improves |

Re: NL100: SC flops 2pair - what now?
i find when the blinds repop me and lead for half the pot or full pot its an overpair, raise him but not so big that he folds TT or JJ 45-50 sounds good then get it in on turn

Re: NL100: SC flops 2pair - what now?
You're not getting him to fold any better hands by shoving the flop and you don't want him to fold JJ - AA (Although most likely he wouldn't anyways). Make it around $50 and call a shove or get the money in on the turn.
