I'm in the need for a UK bank account that handles GBP and can be opened without me physically going to the United Kingdom. Tons of Google searches turn up either vague information or offshore incorporation packages, neither of which are that exciting.
Does anyone have first-hand knowledge and experience in dealing with this type of scenario? Thanks! |

Channel island offshore accounts can be opened without physical presence. You can also choose from a wide variety off currencies.
Good luck. |

I don't think that's possible in the UK proper; you might try the Isle of Man.

There are many, many firms operating in the above tax/money shelter areas that can form a nominee directed/bearer share corporate entity without your physical presence that can hold GBP accounts. The only real hurdle is whether or not your project/balances are of enough size to warrant the expense.

Does anyone have any specifics on this or just general info? Alot of this feedback appears to be of the "I know a guy..." caliber. Do we have anyone with any experience with this sort of thing? I am also curious about this.
Cheers |
