1-2NL Live JJ vs Shooter
Been at table a couple hours, BB is over aggressive shooter that calls // Raises 50 preflop every hand for the past 20 - 30 hands, worst part is... hes hitting... Couple hands before he showed Q4o, for two pair, in a $60 preflop, four ways...
Me ($900) SB ($450 - $500) BB ($1400) Couple limpers, I raise to 40 (Normal raise at this table...) In the CO, SB, BB call, limpers fold... SB Is a decent player, probably with Suited connectors looking for a bunch of back callers, which seems normal at this table.. Flop: QQ10 SB Checks, He Bets 100, I snap call, SB folds Turn: 10 BB Checks, I bet 100, he thinks for a bit and calls River: J BB check, I check... Standard? Fold flop? Raise flop? Check turn? Bet River? Im just looking to figure out how to play ANY hand besides the nuts against this over aggressive shooter... |

Re: 1-2NL Live JJ vs Shooter
bet the river for sure. do you really think he has a queen with the way the hand went down?

Re: 1-2NL Live JJ vs Shooter
Bet the river. I know these kind of guys are terrifying to play against, but I really, really doubt he's got a queen. I think checking misses real value from your hand.

Re: 1-2NL Live JJ vs Shooter
It's most than likely he DOESNT have a queen, so bet the river for value.

Re: 1-2NL Live JJ vs Shooter
I agree with a valuebet, but what do we do to any kind of raise?
