Hypothetical baseball question
If you're a play-off contending team and you need to win all of the 3 games approaching your last series of the year to make it, would you prefer to play (at home) the worst team in the league against whom you are 1-7 or the best team in the league against whom you are 7-1?

wwhat if the best team's pitchers all throw a secret japanese pitch that your players have been secretly training all their lives to hit but no one else knows about it.
and the worst team has 3 players from a country boycotted by your best hitters so your best hitters will boycott all games against the worst team. answer that one, smart guy.
