Calling from the blinds X-post MS
Was posting this in Medium stakes, would be very intrested in your opinions in High stakes.
If moderator dont like me posting this here, just delete the thread. I have a feeling that I call too much in the blinds which might be a pretty big leak that is not so much a problem at 2/4 but at 5/10 I think it might be quite dangerous and easy for good opponents to exploit. Its my second orbit so not much of a read on Villian more that he has a big stack. Stacks: Villian: 2680 Hero: 1000 Hand 1: 5/10 Prima 5-handed (6-max) Hero is SB with T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG folds, Villian raises to 30, 1 fold, Hero does what? A few hands later. Hand 2: (same Villian) 5/10 Prima 5-handed (6-max) Hero is SB with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG folds, Villian raises to 30, 1 fold, Hero does what? What hands do you usually call in the blinds with in the situation above, what kind of opponents do you loosen up against regarding calling in these spots? I have 50% flop seen in BB and 30% in SB, is that way to high? 6-max NL only (2/4 - 5/10, for a pretty small sample size). Other thoughts about this in general? |

Re: Calling from the blinds X-post MS
I definitely don't call in hand 2. I fold every time against an unknown, and may reraise sometimes after I get some sort of read. Hand 1 call/reraise/fold are all fine. I probably fold against an unknown, but I play tight because of the invisible ante. I also play too many tables and like to avoid marginal situations if I can.
