In your experience, what does this river bet usually mean?

Re: The River Donkbet
In my experience, it's a weak block.
I usually ignore it and raise to the amount I was going to bet plus his block size unless I have a read otherwise. Edit: but on this particular hand I agree with Seke, and would have checked behind, so we just call. His river bet still means nothing, but his cold calls disturb me. |

Re: The River Donkbet
Meh. That pot is plenty big already. Personally, I'd be worried enough that Villain has KQ or a flopped set after he C/C'd my flop and turn bets that I'd just call and be happy with the pot size. If he checked on that river, I don't think I'd even have value bet it anyway.

Re: The River Donkbet
It means he wants a cheap showdown. Raise, and if he comes back over the top huffing and puffing with his 77 chasedown, I call and probably grab a gun and shoot the monitor.

I agree with seke, be happy with the pot as is and if he has you beat then it could have been worse.

[/ QUOTE ] Let's pretend Villain checked. Do you put another value/bet in on this river with TPTK after your C/C'd down 2 streets with large bets? I don't. I check behind here. So I'd just call the small bet, not because I think he's trying to buy a cheap showdown, but because I think I'd be happy to have one myself. |

Re: The River Donkbet
If he checked the river I would check the river too, more harm than good can come from betting the river when you already have yourself a nice pot.

Re: The River Donkbet
I think its too cheap to be a please just call bet, if he is any good/tricky at all he is doing this on purpose and will punish you w/ a reraise. Its a good pot to pick up now, if he has you w/ a set, you won't lose anything else, call.

Re: The River Donkbet
Pot is pretty big already for your holding... his line is unreadable with call, call, c/c, c/c... WTF?
I'd be inclined to call here, but I would give serious consideration to raising if I had 60-75% certainty villian had Kx... |

Re: The River Donkbet
No idea what it means, but I don't care--folding's bad and raising's bad, so call.
