Re: AK Facing Raise & Call
I'd probably just jam it in with the pot being so large already.

Re: AK Facing Raise & Call
Hero,
I'm beginning to worry that you need to take a little time and do a little reading on the side. Some of these questions are VERY fundamental. That's not a jab against you personally, but you should know exactly what to do with AK here without question. Personally, I don't raise just to 1800 here. I push. There is already 1000 in the pot and both of these guys have 10K in chips. 1100 = ~22% of your stack, which is fine. When you raise to 1800, there is now 2900 in the pot and only 1350 to call. So, you may very well get a call, especially in a $4 and against these stacks. That would suck, because there would be 4200 in the pot and you have 2700, which is not a great spot to be in. Finally, if you push, you have more FE against some players mid pairs and, conversely, a better chance to get all chips out of of AQ from others who think you are on a major squeeze. Barry |

Just FOLD [/ QUOTE ] C'mon. Barry and some of the others can be pretty frank at times, but they're always thoughtful and constructive. What on earth do we collectively gain by this? |
