Hi all
Can anyone give me any links or post any advice regarding playing vs short stacks Ive looked through all the Anthologys etc but cant seem to find anything... I hate short stacks behind me ruins my attempts at blind stealing and such and also when you get called a cbet often gets called by hands although weak that are winning... burning up $$$ Ii need help with this topic if anyone can give any advice it would be much apprechiated... |

Depends on how short but if they have something like 20bb or less I would just stop trying to steal and only raise a hand you know has showdown value.
Personally if more than 1 player is a shortstack I find another table (unless the rest of the table is super fishy). |

But even with good hands what about cbet etc ...
It it wise just not too cbet ? |

Without stats, just observe them against other opponents. Push a lot of close equity situations.
Perhaps you can give an example or two of some hands that you are struggling on? |

in that example, you definitely c-bet, and those are the types of hands you should be raising pf against shorties. Hands like 67s I would NOT raise w/ if I am against only a shortie.

Others will push. Generally though I tend not to cbet unless I hit the flop somehow against a shortstack, at least until you know how aggressive he is. |
