Default How often is this the Ah? - 175BB deep

No IQ poker 2.00/4.00, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at
Talking-Poker

Vallian is very TAG and i know he is capable of making moves

Stats 12/9/5.25 (AF Flop 3.3 AF Turn 9.0 AF River 5.25).
I only called the flop because i didn't want to build a to big pot but in retrospect i think i should have raised it. Comments on all streets appreciated

I don't mind the flop play really. This is a pretty borderline spot, and folding and calling are both probably ok here. AK with Ah is the only hand he can have here that we beat, but I think he shows up with that a lot here after taking this line. I'm not gonna pokerstove it but I think it's safe to assume we're a ways behind his c/shove range here.

I don't get why he would be checking the turn with a strong hand. There's no way he thinks you're floating this flop. You're also not betting if you have an ace even without a heart. There's really not much you're betting that you aren't calling with anyway. So yeah I think it's some semi bluff often enough to call.

Also, I really don't like raising the flop.

lol what? just because we are 99% sure we are behind preflop doesnt mean we always give up. this guy is obv super aggro post meaning that of we flop good we can look to pick up a good sized pot. nothing wrong with folding either of course.
i fully endorse the preflop call and "we are deep, i am in position and he makes a pretty small raise" are pretty good arguments alone imo
