50 NL QQ
only 60 hands on villain, so very few showdowns. one showdown he had TT but did not 3bet it pf and went into calling mode in position on a J high flop.
he's like 25/14/1 anyways PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) CO ($51.85) Button ($49.40) SB ($78.45) BB ($79.40) Hero ($50.95) MP ($49) Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $2, 2 folds, Button calls $2, 1 fold, BB raises to $6.5, Hero calls $4.50, Button folds. Re: 50 NL QQ
interesting hand. preflop i think i'd give him JJ+, AK. the turn is pretty weird, maybe he's going for a cr with AA or KK - but hed usually bet the turn. by the river, i think we're up against that same range of hands. JJ makes sense, and i don't know if he'd fire with AK. i'm guessing this is why you folded...considering that out of his entire range of hands that make sense, youre only beating one of them by the river.

Re: 50 NL QQ
Wow, weird fold. Are you putting him on KK or AA only PF? Could he not have e.g. KJ or AJ and being OOP 3b PF to make his life easier afterwards?
P.S. I mean why wouldn't he v-bet flop harder and turn w/ AA or KK - what the hell would he be scared of. |

Re: 50 NL QQ
I like this, especially with the jack on the end. He's very rarely betting as a bluff here.

Re: 50 NL QQ
reviewing this hand, i just realized he can never have JJ here. he'd bet turn.

Re: 50 NL QQ
Meh, he could have AK, but I dunno. I wouldn't hate a call at all, but a fold is good. The big question is, wtf does he check this turn with?

Re: 50 NL QQ
Were you trying to induce a river bluff with the turn check? As played, I'd call the river. I think you misrepresented your hand strength by taking your line and that Villain could have AK here or even TT/AJ. I think Villain likely fires again on the turn w/ AA/KK. Most passive villains will bet the 2nd nuts.
I'd probably get AI earlier in the hand. |

Re: 50 NL QQ
I don't like this hand but i don't have much advice for you. I'd be all-in by the turn though and gambool it up.
