Villain is Reef. He wasn't at the tables too long at this point and we hadn't really gotten into any hands together. I'm not sure if he knows this, but at this point in time my image to the table should've been very tight, as I hadn't been making moves and whatnot.

I feel like this is a random J so much of the time, but from his point of view my hand could easily be a boat (TT/99/T8/98/87/etc), and there's no way I could be bluffing shoving only a little more than 2x his donk bet, right?

I'm thinking that shove > fold > call.

ok i reread the hand. it seems really difficult for him to show up with J here so this is actually not too bad. However, given his donkish play in the hand it is not clear if he would fold a 6.

agree. I'm trying to think of hands that make sense. If hero didn't have K8 then I'd guess 88 if anything.


PS shove is pure spew. I don't even understand any logic where shoving could possibly be the best move. hes not folding a Jack for 300 more.
