Default lets talk about leaks........

so i was reading ed's old post the other day about leaks and it got me thinking....i have no idea what my leaks are! my basic stats are basically ideal 25/15/35/2.83. table selection is not an issue at the stakes a play .

most people say to post hands, well in my opinion i rarely play a hand interesting enough to post.

so i'm wondering what YOUR biggest leak is. what makes you think this is a leak? how did you find it? how are you correcting it? i'm hoping that some of you more advanced players will know your own games better than i know mine, and that it will help me find mine. hopefully this will generate some decent discussion as well. ty all

no idea what my biggest leak is but here are a few I am working on:

betting the river when the bet is not for value

inducing bluffs from people who don't bluff enough

giving up too easily in small limped pots. not that sure about this one tbh

some bad flop peels

defending too light considering the 3.5BB/100 rake I pay at 5/10

playing fold or raise too much on the flop

angry and tilty

My biggest leak had been 2 and 3 barreling ak high against 2 calling stations with position.

Generally just being too aggressive against players that will call with an enormous range of hands.

trying to fix your WTSD by only looking at river folds is something you could consider a "leak".

I'm not necessarily talking to you in particular but i feel like a lot of times 2p2ers make good river folds but are too tight in blind battles and fold a lot of flops too easily. There are threads i read where people are like "well i fold the flop" and i wonder how they don't get run over and remind myself WHY i c/r the flop with gutters + middle cards.

Like the A7hh on a K54, and hero get's c/r'd. Against a player i have a semi-decent read on i know if i'm dead there or if i should call. early in the session i'm calling there, maybe even raiding a T/J/Q turn for a free showdown. That's early in the session though.

word i kinda miss poker a little lately.

-Paying off when i know iam certainly beat and then question myself why i called.

-Not paying enough attention at times

-Dont trust my intuition and then talk myself into the false decision

That one is very important. If I had followed my gut feeling more I would have been much richer than I am.
We are grinding so many hands so the gut feeling almost always should override those wishful out calculations we do sometimes.
