Default Bluffing the flush ...

Second hand at the table. Thought it was a good spot to represent the flush. Comments?

well, sometimes i guess. but with it being a raised pot, your range is more geared toward stuff like AQ/etc.

He's not folding. c/c and lead on 3-flush is not a weak hand.

Villain called and showed Q8o for top pair crappy kicker.
I thought he was a huge calling station but for the next 3/4 of hour he folded consistently to me and the other players of the table.

Except for one time when he called down what seemed (and was) like a re-stealing attempt.

So, this means my bluff was obvious to him.

If you're gonna rep the Flush, do it on the Turn.


I don't hate flat calling the Turn because you don't want to get 3bet off your draw. But if you just call the Turn, then you pretty much can't bluff the River.

im not a big fan of bluffing into unknowns. its hard to put him on any sort of range on the turn, or what he might be willing to call with on the river.

wouldnt you feel dumb if 20 hands from now, you realize this guy is a total calling station and you wasted $50 ?

against decent players, i dont mind this at all.
