I'm assuming AhX and QhX, but I really can't see folding here.

Re: River Call? i hate this spot $400NL
main concern is AhX
but why would he bet 99 88 1010 the only hand i beat is a missed flush draw and a low one at that or KJhearts but since i have the Jh that cant be it + not to mention how small he bet |

Re: River Call? i hate this spot $400NL
The way this played out, after villain calls the preflop raise, and the bet on the flop, before the turn I'd put villain on pocket 10s/Qs/Ks, maybe AK hearts. When the ace hits on the turn I either put the rest of my stack in to push out QQ/KK or i give up on the hand completely. On the river, I'm not sure what hand leads out for 80, that you're beating.

Re: River Call? i hate this spot $400NL
I don't think he ever has KK here, based on pre-flop and flop play. I don't think he peels the flop with overs, although this is read-dependant. Do you think he peels flop with something like AK/AQ? If so, river is an easy fold.
The only way you can call is if you feel he will a) call the flop with 99, TT, 44, 55, or a flop draw, AND b) make this weak river bluff often enough to justify the pot odds. A more specific read would probably help. |

Re: River Call? i hate this spot $400NL
I usually see villains make this small blocking bet with a not so good hand that they don't want to check and face a much larger bet with.
If he isn't good, can't 8x and maybe some 5x hands be included in his range? |
