Last week they said all of our questions would be answered. I beg to differ.

Re: John from Cincinatti finale
I hope thats how they intended to end the season and didnt have to throw in a lot of extra dramatic stuff to make sure the viewers want it to be picked up for season two.
El Camino salesman - whats his deal? John's dad speaking through him? I heard the ending line correctly right - "Mother of God, Kai?" Def need to watch this ep again. And Ed Oneil continues to be awesome ofc. |

Re: John from Cincinatti finale
[ QUOTE ]
I like puzzles, and stylized script-writing, so I liked the show. Most people who hated it seemed pretty unwilling to give anything different a shot, but oh well. [/ QUOTE ] BS. I gave it a shot, hell I gave it 10 and while I did enjoy it the few parts that were good, as a whole the series just tried far too hard and lost good storytelling in a sea of pretension and self-indulgence. It was like the show was written, in equal parts, by a brilliant, gifted storyteller and an egotistical 15-year-old who has never written anything, but has read a third of 'Stephen King On Writing' and asked OOT how to get his staggering genius published. |

Re: John from Cincinatti finale
We'll never understand this show...unless someone explains to me how to get on the pipeline at JohnMonad.com
So ok, John is an alien robot sent to warn earth about an invasion in 2014? Or whatever. And Kai is going to give birth to the antichrist? Who knows...what a strange a beautiful episode. Hope that Milch will be allowed to make tv again after basically pissing on his career by making art instead of tv. |

Re: John from Cincinatti finale
I'm happy it's finally over. I felt like a chump watching this show from week to week, hoping that something would finally happen...and being repeatedly disappointed when nothing did. The "finale" was much of the same.
