I play the same nh. He is not 2nd barreling with AK here IMO and you loose to all his other holdings TT,JJ,KK,AA.

Re: QQ in 3bpot 50nl
You cant flat call the flop. Either raise or fold because you are definitely folding the turn if you dont hit, and he is definitely betting again, so you are basically paying a bunch of money to fold on the next street.

[/ QUOTE ] Ama, why is he definitely betting again? if i was villain and had AK im prolly checking turn. Do you think he always fires again with AK? or do you think he never has AK? |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't understand. Shouldn't we just fold the flop by this logic? How is raising ever an option? I really disagree that villain is definitely betting the turn. If he has AK he will almost certainly check. That's the reason we're calling the flop, isn't it? |

Re: QQ in 3bpot 50nl
thanks for the replies so far
[ QUOTE ] What plan do you have when calling the flop? [/ QUOTE ] fold if he fires again. check behind if he checks... not sure if i should bet if he checks though. I think people usually play straight forward in 3bpots without history (me included). if he has aa/kk/set i expect him to fire again. If he has AK or somehtign else he was 3betting with i expect him to give up on the turn. maybe im being hopefull/naive, but i think its an ok assumption... obviously interested in others opinions though! |
