Responding to Cbets - 100nl
Villain is 24/19/4 and cbets 90%. Is there some way to play back at him here? I know he is cbetting and I know there is a huge chance I have the best hand but do I just have to fold anyway?
Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) Hero (SB): $110.87 BB: $100.00 UTG: $47.53 CO: $81.60 BTN: $77.00 Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players) 2 folds, BTN raises to $4.00, Hero calls $3.50, BB calls $3.00 Flop: ($12) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 (3 Players) Hero checks, BB checks, BTN bets $7.00, Should hero raise here? |

Re: Responding to Cbets - 100nl
Definitely don't fold.
If you flat call pre, you have to pick up some of these pots since you don't have odds to call purely for a set. Whether or not you call or raise here depends a lot on villain's attempt to steal and turn bet frequencies, not just his c-bet %. edit: didn't notice it was 3-way. That changes things a lot, but I still proabably don't fold. |

Re: Responding to Cbets - 100nl
If you think he's cbetting really light, which a ton of players do, just check raise him. Personally I prefer to lead on a flop like this if HU with villian. But since the BB is here and left to act, I would just check fold.
Headsup going to the flop and this hand is completly different. |

Re: Responding to Cbets - 100nl
I tend to give these up in 3 way pots. HU I like to CR with little pairs like this and fold to further action. I prefer a few more outs to float cbets with.

Re: Responding to Cbets - 100nl
lead out > c/r or c/c. Relative position being the reason
or you could just fold. It's a terrible board to cbet in this situation, not sure if he knows that though. |
