NL600 4bet push on flop with air
Profitable? Horrible?
Villain is 14/8 TAG regular (only 2k hands though). I view him as top 5-10 on bodog in NL600, I'm pretty sure he vies me the same, even though I'm more loose. The only showdown i remember having against him was my AA vs his KK AIPF... so we normally stay out of each other's way. Re: NL600 4bet push on flop with air
the size of his reraise is pretty terrible being oop and with this ridiculously draw-heavy board. without knowing anything else about him, I'd say that makes it more likely that he's planning to fold to a push.

Re: NL600 4bet push on flop with air
this is beyond terrible imo. His range is sets, big draws, and QQ+, and he calls your push with everything but QQ. And he's never bluffing either.

Re: NL600 4bet push on flop with air
I think this is serious spew. He's rarely folding overpairs (QQ+) here with the amount of draws that are possible. You are probably drawing very slim here and I wouldnt make this move without a serious read.

Re: NL600 4bet push on flop with air
The board is so wet you will get looked up a ton here by overpairs putting you on a drawing hand.
You have position. I much rather just call the flop bet, with the intention of bluffing on a latter street if one of the 15 or so scare cards fall. And I 3bet PF. |

Wow. Either this is horrible, or I have to move up quicker.
If you had AA, would you play it the same? This cant be a good move in the long run. Hell, in the short run. I understand the 3-bet on him and all, but the rest really baffles me. |

3bet PF. If he's a good reg, you can't rep KK/AA (and probably not even QQ) here because you cold-called PF.

I really dont play back at him much at all, so this was just a good opportunity on a board like that. Im not trying to rep AA or KK, Im just trying to rep a hand that beats his overpair, and don't want him drawing if he has a flush draw. But I obviously know he doesnt have a flush draw since I have the A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], therefore he cant really call me with anything if my rep is what I think it is. |
