Default Mindless busy work threshold poll.

Your job is to arrange a bunch of random numbers 1-5 into one of those scantron sheets. Number 1 corresponds to A and number 2 to B, etc.

So you would have a long list of paper with a numerical sequence on each line. So if a line were to read 42531 you would fill in DBECA on your scantron. You have to fill out at least 2000 lines a day or you are fired. This is merely some twisted billionaires sick game and your work is of no value whatsoever to society.

If you finish the 2000 lines before 5 P.M. then you still have to stay in your seat like a good slave until 5 P.M.

There is coffee available in the office and a water cooler, but no computers, phone, TV or anything else. You have a 30 minutes lunch break that you can take whenver you like. You have 5 coworkers whom you would never hang out with outside of the office, but you would not consider any of them to be bad people.

How much salary would you need per year (after taxes) to work under these conditions for 40 hours a week 52 weeks a year? You have to sign up for at least five years. At 2000 lines a day you should only have to put out about 4 lines per minute so meeting the daily quota would not require extreme exertion on your part.

This poll would be a lot more useful if the range was something like
75k
100k
150k
200k
250k
300k

No, because the worst part of everything is having to get up in the early morning for it.

i would do it for 250k a year, assuming that you made a mistake in not mentioning that you were given holidays off and a decent amount of vacation.
