A paid poker forum just banned me..
Hey everyone..
Ha ha a forum that i paid ten bucks to use even just banend me at a site called cardrunners. I simply told people about a poker site that is curretnly 400% cheaper than other sites and the moderator banned me. He asked me in private chat to please not tell people so basically he could keep making money off his affiliate links better. So if they do that there at cardrunners.. why should they charge for the forum too? I am just tired of people being so greedy about this matter. I just know if i some nutty "stars" or "tilt" enthusiast he would prob have no problems. The 3 people who did reply thanked me for the heads up there about the site/ positive reponses. What do u all think?? Don't u all think thats kind of greedy for a moderator of a PAID forum??? Seems like a very greedy decison to me. What do u all think about that? todd ps- The truth seems to be if i even wrote a post about a decnent post about how rake is bascially taking everybody's money except the top 5% I think alot of forums would ban for even trying to "educate the masses." I am a semi pro. |

Re: A paid poker forum just banned me..
As as a paid member that should entitle someone to some free speech and to help / save people tens of thousands of dollars as well as do my part to get online poker in the right direction for people like me who truly care.
at least from a moral standpoint i belive. |

Re: A paid poker forum just banned me..
on a moral standpoint, I agree with you. but there are ways around the rules without directly breaking them. you could pm people, or get people to pm you for info, just replying in relevant threads with contact info, etc.

As as a paid member that should entitle someone to some free speech and to help [/ QUOTE ] This is where you are wrong. Paid forums have rules just like free forums, and if you break them you'll be banned. You might not agree with the rules, but you were warned ahead of time. If you really had a huge problem iwth the rules you could've chosen to not sign up. |

Re: A paid poker forum just banned me..
whatever..
i mean from a moral standpoint.. we all know the decision was greedy though. Lets not be so cut and dry about.. rules.. rules.. rules. The rule i was busted was more or less.. "we really dont want people to know about this and on a reply to my post the mod said openly to everyone that the site was basically not even reputable and that he would not even send people there himself. ha ha and i'm seriously not kidding about that. We all know he was lying there. Then he also even defamed the site more by saying that there was not alot of players as if that still does make it the most cost effective site in the world. |

Re: A paid poker forum just banned me..
What kind of poker site that is 400% cheaper?
Do you mean a site where you play online where they have better rake or more rakeback? Do you mean a different affiliate? Whatever it was I'm sure it was obvious that you were spamming. LOL at the idea that, "I paid money so I should get free speech." No idea why anyone would think that. |
