Preflop Quickie
New to NL online, played a bunch of 1/2 and 2/5 NL live, with up to 1200 stacks.
I also don't really play 6 max NL. PF 6 players everyone has about 250 except UTG, 1/2 blinds. UTG Raises to $4 (been minraising a lot) MP Folds I make it $12 on CO w QQ Button calls $12 SB folds BB goes All-in for $260 UTG Calls 90 and is All-In Whats my play? UTG min-raises and then called all in. BB cold pushed. Does someone always have AA or KK? Or is this a call? thx calc |

Re: Preflop Quickie
FWIW I folded, and didn't even think too hard about it since it seemed obvious I was beat.
BB had AKo and UTG had AJs. I would have won a few hundred, and I was astonished and am posting to find out if I made a terrible unstandard play or just got "unlucky" that I didn't have good enough reads on these players yet. I was maybe half expecting a ton of "dude you have queens call" posts. |

Re: Preflop Quickie
BB's A-K was pretty obvious, but the utg min-raise call-a-shove kind of move would scare the hell out of me and make me muck queens in one second
