Best XBOX360 games?
I have a XBOX360 with a few games (Oblivion, Lost Planet, Dead Rising, Gears of War, Rainbow 6: Vegas). I love 1st person shooters (like Halo), and my all time favorite games are God of War I and II. Any suggestions for other games? I'm thinking about making a few purchases.

Re: Best XBOX360 games?
Tried Ninenty Nine Nights: There's a demo available on Live. It's a you versus 5000 enemies at once type game - loads of fun.
EA Sports Fight Night Round 3: There's a demo available on Live. You really gotta try this one out, even if you hate sports games. The controls just make it sooo much fun. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1/2: There's demos available on Live. Tactical shooter. Alot like Rainbow Six with a bit more tactical type play. Very challenging games. Splinter Cell Double Agent: Not sure if there's a demo available for this one. A stealth type game. Lots of fun with tons of ways to complete your objectives. Multiple endings are nice too. There's also a hoard of great games coming out in the near future. If you like RPGs at all: Two Worlds, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, Eternal Sonata, etc.. For shooters/action, check out Bioshock, Halo 3, Kane and Lynch: Dead Men, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Stranglehold, The Orange Box (A release from Valve includes Half Life 2 original and episodes 1&2, Team Fortress 2, and "Portal"), etc.. Really though, just use XBox live. They have demos and trailers of most games out there. |

[/ QUOTE ]I don't know if MS takes demos down after a while, but there was definitely a demo available a few months ago. It's a fun game. Elements of shooter games, but because you're supposed to be stealthy most of the time, it's different enough from typical shooters to make it very much worth playing. Available cheap on Amazon Marketplace. |

I'd say this is my 2nd favorite game next to Gears. |

Re: Best XBOX360 games?
You basically have the best 360 games already. Since you like shooters I'd highly recommend Call of Duty 2, a super fun game that still looks good and implements cover & epic-battle-feel better than Gears of War. Don't know whether there's still much of a multiplayer community around but the single-player campaign is definitely worth the ~$18 you'll pay at this point.
Condemned is an atmospheric first-person action/adventure but I would recommend a rental unless you can find it for $10 or so. Basically no multiplayer and a ~6 hour single player story with very little replay value. What there is is sweet, though. No connection with that recent movie. |

Re: Best XBOX360 games?
Just to be clear, I have nothing against the newer Call of Duty 3, but I haven't played it, and it wasn't made by the same developer as Call of Duty 2. Reviews of COD3 were positive but lukewarm.
