Default More 3-bet pot fun

First couple of orbits, so no reliable stats.

Reads: Villain has a card runners icon.

History: We have got involved in one other 3bet pot that I took down by c-betting the flop, and shoving the turn.

Comments on all streets appreciated.

I'm not sure why you didn't bet the flop.

As played, you must call the river.

MM,
I would much prefer a flop check if the board was J53 instead of J93 because medium pairs are less likely to fold to your c-bet in the J53 example.

You must call the river. By checking behind and just calling a 1/2 pot on the turn, it looks like you want to get to showdown with a very marginal hand. I'm guessing he realizes this and near pots it on the river to fold a huge portion of your range.

Great point.

Did not c-bet because I didn't expect to get much credit from villain on this board. I would guess that he floats or c/r me more than 1/2 the time. We have a hand with some kind of showdown value/equity to improve. These are the reasons why I decided to check.

Lets construct some kind of range for the villain. What does his value-betting range look like here? How often does he bluff?

BTW, how do we come up with a bluff % without history in this spot? I find myself having a very hard time assigning bluffing frequencies in these games.

Insta-call. You have TPTK. You beat plenty of hands including KQ, QT, TT. And with the history he is trying to push you off the hand a fair percentage of the time.

With this "history" he is more likely to try to snap off a bluff imho.
