Default UB Withdrawal B.S, is this allowed?

I wanted my money out of Fulltilt and into my Bank account in the UK. So I move my dollars to UB and request a check, this is what I get. When did they introduce this Bullsh*t into the terms and conditions? I have to pay $8 for processing too, is that not enough?! I've over 50k hands there, a pile of rake paid and they treat me like a criminal.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be advised that your withdrawal has been subject to a random security verification. We have noticed that you are requesting a withdrawal and this amount is not related to game-play. Upon verification of your account, you have deposited then withdrew immediately without playing.

In order to minimize fraudulent activity, please provide us with an explanation of the circumstances of this activity so we may proceed with your withdrawal request.

Your withdrawal has been cancelled until we receive your reply.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you require further assistance or
additional information.

Best regards,
-----------------------------
My reply:

I'm withdrawing because I've had enough of poker. The reason I have deposited then withdrawn without playing is that I had my money at fulltilt then moved it to neteller then UB so that I can make use of your cheques that are cashed in pound sterling, which neteller do not do. As I said, i didn't play after depositing because I'm finished with the game.
-------------------
UB:
Thank you for getting back to us with an explanation. Although I completely understand your position, we are only able (ed: unable) to withdraw your funds via your depositing method without sufficient play. Your recent request via courier check has been cancelled. Please advise if you would like to us to proceed in withdrawing the funds to your NETeller account and I will submit and process it manually once I receive your reply. We are terribly sorry for all inconveniences this may cause.

Please let us know if you require further assistance.
-----------
Me:
How many hands do I have to play?
-----------
UB Scum:

Thank you for getting back to us. There is no specific number of hands to play in order to be eligible for withdrawal after making a deposit. We simply ask that you use the funds for gameplay as you normally would and trust that you will act in good faith.

Sure, it's allowed, and it is a good policy.

Maybe I have been acting like an idiot here in expecting UB to be a money transfer fix. However, I need the money and can't be arsed to play any more.

My neteller account is in US$, my bank account in UK£, so I incur horrible transfer fees afaik (it was 3.9% when depositing). I've e-mailed neteller to ask for their fees for withdrawing as I can't find them on the site but haven't heard back.

And, I pay $8 for my check, is that not enough? Can I not tip them another $8 for allowing me to get my money?

You're trying to skip around fees that every person has to pay when they exchange money. The reason the FOREX makes money is because of the exchange rates between currencies.

They should not have to incur the fees of changing the money for you without you giving anything to their site. You can deposit USD into your UK account, it will be converted at the best rate possible (airports and other places rip you off in terms of currency exchange); do it that way and stop complaining about a company that doesn't feel it owes special treatment to somebody who isn't going to be giving them anything in return.

They're not keeping you from your money, they've already told you they will let you withdraw it back to Neteller. Do that, now that you know UB is not a money-exchange service and is not willing to be one even for an extra $8. You'll be back to sqaure one, but at least you'll have your money and be just a little bit wiser.

What you are attempting to do is launder funds, without even the appearance of using the UB site as it is intended to be used, that is to play poker. If you had made your deposit, played a few hours over a couple of weeks, then withdrawn, you would probably not have had any problems. UB is not a financial institution and understandably does not provide this service.

I think that you are confusing UB with UBS! One is a poker site and the other is a bank.

Why should they operate as your personal money launderer?
