Default Blind defense vs TAG steal

Villain is 29/21/2 ATS:40

How thin do you go with aces here? Every ace? I rly need to review blind defense ranges

Absolute Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $5/$10
6 players

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
3 folds, <font color="#cc0000">BTN raises,</font> SB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4.6SB, 2 players)
Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">BTN bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, BTN calls.

Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4.3BB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, BTN calls.

I defend with any A here. I made a post about this spot about a week ago or so, and the consenus was to just c/f these flops.

Yeah, I like where your head is, but this flop hits his range so hard with pairs or draws that your FE is miniscule.

yea I meant at least call an A. I tend to 3 bet A7s+ A8o+ though.

I think it's spewy to go that low. You get less value from worse hands that miss and you getting RIOed to death.

I think this flop is not the kind you're looking for. That J and T hit his range so much, if he didn't have a pair already.

When defending with A2o, one must not forget that one of the major reasons you call in the first place is because you're getting decent odds; it's not like A2o is a dream hand. You didn't hit anything and you will have a hard time making him fold on this board. There are better flops to c/r with A2o, and you shouldn't mind check/folding many of the flops that come up.

For curious george's out there I was BTN in this hand and hero was AP reg, IMO at the time to be one of the best I've played at AP. damn his metagame lol
