AA cracked - season 2
No particular read on BU.
B2B limit 1/2 (4 handed) Preflop: Hero is BB with A, A. CO calls, BU raises, SB folds, hero 3-bets, CO calls, BU caps, Hero calls, CO calls. Flop: Q, 5, T (3 players) Hero checks, CO checks, BU bets, Hero raises, CO folds, BU 3-bets, hero calls. Turn: 9 (3 players) Hero bets, BU calls. River: J 2 players) Hero bets, BU calls. Now that I review the hand, my donk on the turn appears quite strange. Maybe I wanted to play bet/fold, but I don't think I have much fold equity here. Should have called down ? |

Re: AA cracked - season 2
Usually just cap and lead here. I wonder if you can cf the river though. He'll probably check behind red aces.

Re: AA cracked - season 2
yea I would cap the flop and lead the turn here, calling down if he raises me again
his 3bet range is likely tptk+, so we're beating 12 combos and losing to 6. if he can have KQ here we're doing even better |

Re: AA cracked - season 2
Agree to cap flop and betting turn but river I would c/f. The only hand we beat is 77- without two spades and AQ which he will probably check behind.

Re: AA cracked - season 2
Lead the flop. Check-raising just forces CO to play better poker. If you lead he'll call with a T, some pp's and any draw. If you c/r he'll call with good draws, and fold the rest.
As played, cap the flop for value 'cause you are ahead of his range. Then your turn lead would make much more sense. River is a check. Not sure if I could c/f in this big of a pot, but wtf do you beat? Re: AA cracked - season 2
just saying that vs an unknown we shouldn't immediately give him too tight of a hand range just because he caps preflop
leave a little slack for standard spewtardedness |

River is a check. Not sure if I could c/f in this big of a pot, but wtf do you beat? [/ QUOTE ] I think river is a b/f or c/f, I believe c/c is the worst of all options. The hands you beat will rarely bet, and noone bluff raises AQ here. |

Re: AA cracked - season 2
Cap flop and lead turn. Unless villain is retarded I'll c/f river, but I guess you could b/f too.

Re: AA cracked - season 2
Not much point in going for a SNG, I guess you can slow down if a K turns, but that's not gonna happen much. Just cap the flop. On the river you only beat AQ, maybe AJ. I'm not too good at check/folding an overpair against unknowns, so I'd bet/fold.
