I had a fairly similar first semester myself, though I had Comp Sci I instead of English and Intro to Economics instead of philosophy. I got a 3.6 (A A B+ B). Best of luck to you. |

Re: college grades...
Is your college giving you credit for it?
If it is, yes. Otherwise, I see no reason not to take it. |

Re: college grades...
With those vanilla classes and the fact that you only have 4 there is no real reason why you shouldnt get good grades, maybe even great ones.
1. You're already very good at Calc (apparently). 2. Psych is a joke. 3. Freshman English is generally a joke but can be challenging (maybe take an Honors course?) 4. Intro to Philosophy can be very stimulating, but is also pretty easy. If you can create a coherent argument at all then you should be fine. |

Re: college grades...
Intro psych tests at my school were always 50 multiple choice questions. That and the fact that psych is such a huge area with so many different varieties (bio, developmental, cognitive, social, etc.) makes it hard for a whole lot of specifics to be covered in Intro Psych. It's basically just a glossing over of everything.
So in my experience, yes, always a joke. |

At my college it had the reputation of being the second easiest class there (just behind something called "Deep Listening," whatever that is). |
