Default Absolute Poker or Absolute BS...

So I requested a withdrawl of $141 sent via mailcheck. On their website it says, and I quote "Absolute Poker is pleased to offer free check withdrawals using regular mail for a limited time." Here is the link: http://absolutepoker.com/banking/us-players.asp

This is great. However when I requested the withdrawl they now want to charge me $8 fee. I showed them the text on the website but they refuse to listen. Its incredible how this site nickle and dimes you anyway they can. I would like to file a complaint with casino meister but for $8 I'm not sure its worth his time.

What is their response exactly when confronted with the fact that it explicitly states on their website that it is free? I agree also that the $8 doesn't matter, but the principal does.

I have withdrawn several times this year via check (including once in July) and they never charged me anything.

I thought I would give their VIP live chat (I'm a VIP here) support a try and ask for a refund. I got someone really nice thankfully and she agreed with me that it seemed very unfair. She said that she would try to get my $8 refunded and she would send me an email back later.

Sure enough $8 was credited to my account. First pro-customer decision I have ever seen Absolute Poker make.
