Re: $60 AQ L3, thx pudge
This is okay. Stacks are a little too deep and he could get it in here with a bunch of FDs and he needs to be able to fold 56 or 77 here. I would like it more with the Ah.

Float then bet if checked to. Cheaper and more airtight.

Re: $60 AQ L3, thx pudge
I like this better against someone that is tighter but not a regular. Everytime I do this vs a guy like this he snap calls with 77 or A6.

Are these the kinds of moves one must make to find themselves successful at these high level sngs?

Re: $60 AQ L3, thx pudge
I agree with DD the reason why shoving here is good because a lot of the time villain will think like this.
Durrrr I have 77 I need to see where I am at bet/fold. However you need to make sure He doesn't think oh noe I was supposed to bet/fold, but he probably has a FD or AK I'm going to call despite the fact I planned on bet folding. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think this is more likely on this board at this level. [/ QUOTE ] a 38/16 player is not limping AK preflop and then calling that raise preflop. i think he limps AK about 1% of the time and if he does limp it he would shove over my raise preflop. also, calling seems like spew. when these guys bet 1/3 pot into the preflop raiser (150) you can count on two more small/medium bets almost all the time. |
