2 AA hands:
Villain is 46/11/2
Bet turn for value, call push? What are we beating here when he pushes? Do we call because we have a redraw and the pot is so big and he could also have a Queen? Re: 2 AA hands:
1st hand my guess would be QJ. I raise to $15 on the flop and push turn. He might have also picked a backdoor on the turn.
Whats the second hand? |

Re: 2 AA hands:
With hand 1 you should be thinking ...
"why is this guy flat calling me on the flop?" "What am I going to do on the turn if I bet and am raised?" The turn raise exhibits strenght. Villain obviouslly does not want to scare you off on the flop and waits to raise the turn. You are beat here 100% of the time and your only hope is a club river. You have a $40 pot and need to call 19 or approximately 2-1. Including the fact that you might stack your villain on a club you are getting 3-1 implied because he has an extra $20 behind. There are probably 7-9 outs left so you are only getting like 16% to hit your draw. You have no odds to continue and I think you should fold to the turn raise. +EV |
