Bingo..the turn really made me scratch my head.. and looks like we are beat, but I can not find a fold.. just river an 8 or 9 for good measure.

even though his turn c/r makes no sense, once he caps your 3bet, i'm just calling the river unless we spike an 8 or a 9.

if he checks the river, then [censored] him and bet. and if he c/r again, well, nh i guess.

edit to add: i bet this is AA a significant % of the time.

maybe weak tight on my part, but based on villians stats i can't imagine we're in great shape here. i give lots o'action with a river 8 or 9 (obv), otherwise i think i'm just calling.

his turn cap screams case 8 at worst, and w/o any knowledge of his bb defending tendencies, i have to assume he has 86-8A, or maybe 44 (not likely given his flop ch/r), with us being behind most of those hands.

I think the turn 3-bet is good if vil is often defending weak. But an 8 in vils hand will have you outkicked always so I'm c/c ing everything but a 9.

I think you will find overpairs often tho.

C'mon... give a read about his blind defense or something.

I think you should check-call the river. I would probably 3-bet too, thinking that he might unload here with TT or something else that he decided to get silly with, but since you got capped, he probably has A8.

Of course, if you gave a read or something, it would have been better.
