Live 5/10 DEEP
Live 5/10 No Limit 9 Handed
Game is pretty loose. Hero was playing pretty solid and did not get caught out of line. EP was playing pretty loose but would not commit alot of chips without very strong hands. LP was a calling station that only bet strong with good hands. Effective stacks Hero: covers EP: ~3300 LP; ~2900 5 limpers and Hero limps from the small blind with 33 and BB checks. Flop 7c 3s 4h Hero bet 35 BB folds UTG folds EP calls MP calls LP calls Button calls Turn 7s Hero Bets 60 EP calls MP calls LP calls Button folds River 2s Hero Bets 150 EP calls MP folds LP raises to 300 Hero reraises to 900 EP reraises all in for 3200 LP folds Hero ???? As played what would you do on the river? |

Re: Live 5/10 DEEP
Why is the bet so small on the turn?
On the river, it really looks like EP has a big hand and wanted to get extra value from overcalls since it didn't look like anyone had a really big hand with him. He got a raise and a RR so now he springs to life with his "stone cold nuts" hoping to catch someone with a great 2nd best hand. As played, fold the river. But really I wouldn't have RR'd the LP minraise (big strength or moron). It would have saved you 600 bucks as EP still will probably RR after LP reopened the betting and you still should fold. |

Re: Live 5/10 DEEP
This is so damn sick but in a limped pot you have to fold you don't wanna get stacked in unraised pot 300BB deep with near bottom full house.

Re: Live 5/10 DEEP
GOD this is so sick but I probably puke all over the table and then fold. His line is so utterly confusing to me here that my head is about to explode.

Re: Live 5/10 DEEP
LP has 4s5s, EP has AsTs. You can fold if you want, I guess. Would have been cool to actually bet the turn.

Re: Live 5/10 DEEP
If river was a non-spade you have to muck...this is one of the sickest spots I have ever seen though. If EP was a ridiculously great player, he knows someone behind him (MP or LP) rivered the runner runner flush and knows someone will raise so he can back raise squeeze the [censored] out of everyone with the nuts. The only hand you call really beat is the nut flush, I actually think he has something like 77 though and had to j call the turn with the absolute nuts.
50/50 he has you beat or just the nut flush. You're getting 2-1, CALL !! |

Re: Live 5/10 DEEP
idk, i really don't think he has just a flush here unless hes absolutely god awful. That's not to say he isn't... but he'd have to be. this is so sick, but i think you're gonna see 7777 here a lot.

Re: Live 5/10 DEEP
probably not all that relevant, but your hand is stronger if you have the 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] since then he's less likely to have 73s... however, if 73s is in his open-limping range, then he's equally likely to play 22, a flush, or maybe even a straight as the nuts here. History is everything in this situation.
