$100 Home STT - AA on 2345 board
At my Sunday night home game, we play a $100 NL STT. $10,000 starting chips, $50 - $100 blinds to start and double every 30 minutes.
Here's my read on the table: Seat #1 approx $8000 - Girl - Solid Rock Seat #2 approx $8000 - host - LOOOSE aggressive, Will squeeze w/ ATC multiple times, BLUFFS alot, but faily solid Seat #3 aprox $17000 - Unknown player, young, has shown some loose play, said "I could afford" it after playing a suited 74 Seat #4 $4400 - SOLID ROCK - Semi if not full pro player - Utmost respect for his play Seat #5 $11,300 ME - DONKEY - My table image is Tight as an ants behind Seat #6 approx $16,000 - Young player, seems solid Seat #7 approx $7000 - Young player, will play ATC, but is usually pretty tight, just check raised me w/ middle pair Seat #8 approx $16000 - LOOOSE LOOSE AGRESSION We are on the 2nd hand of the $200 - $400 level. I am UTG w/ Ad As and raise to $1400 Folds around to the SB in Seat 3 who calls, the BB who calls. The pot is now $4600. FLOP: 2d 4c 5s Check, Check, I bet $1400. SB Calls, BB Folds, pot is now $7400. TURN 3c (2d 4c 5s) Check, I bet $2400. SB raises to $8000. At this point there is 9800 + the rest of my remaining $5100 = $14,900 so just shy of 3/1 on the rest of my chips to call. Guess what I do? What Should I have done? |

[/ QUOTE ] Lol I thought about just after I posted that that he probably had 66 go figure. Waaaiitt, I sound like a total douche for saying that but oh well. But I the reason for the pot bet on the flop is it will commit all the hands that you want to commit to the pot that are way behind such as 66-99. |

Re: $100 Home STT - AA on 2345 board
Yes I my flop bet was WAY TOO WEAK w/ 2 Callers in the hand, I actually gave the 6 outer the correct odds to call (4/1).... Goes to show you, no matter how good your hand is weak betting is one of the worst things you can do.
2 other things. I flipped my hand up and said, this sux Im going to call off all my chips w/ the sucker end of this.... But right when I flipped it up, before i called I looked at the kid and when he saw the AA he went head down to the table...into the TANK! ... I read him as caught and called. OUCH OUCH OUCH! TY again |

Bet a reasonable amount on the flop, shove turn.

3k on the flop so the rest is a formality.
