Pirates of Pogglesport II
RULES
AFK Everyone will be expected to post at least once a day. If you do not post at least once during this time, I will start looking for a replacement for you immediately. If you are going to be gone for a day or two, that’s perfectly fine. Just PM me and let me know. I will let the village know that you are “on vacation”. (You may also tell them, if you wish). Lynchings There will be at least one lynching a day. If by 10pm EDT there has been no lynching since 10PM the previous day, the person with the most votes will be lynched. . A majority before 10PM EDT will constitute a lynching. Nightfall Nobody should be posting after nightfall. I realize that some people like to celebrate a wolf lynching – I am okay with that. But no names, hints, strategies, etc are to be posted. You guys know what is appropriate and what isn't. Wolves and seers have until 8am EDT to submit their picks. Your first pick is binding. If I do not hear from a wolf within the allocated timeframe, there will be a random villager death. If I hear from 2 wolves, I will take the first wolf’s pick….so be sure you agree. If I do not hear from the seer in the allocated timeframe, they will receive a random “sight”. If there is a “mid-day lynching” by majority, we can consider a second day, if time permits. Posts Please be sure you want to post what you are posting before you post it….in case a final vote shows up while you are typing. POSTS ARE NOT TO BE DELETED! If you accidentally post after a final vote or once night has fallen – you are stuck with that post. You are not to delete it. You may only edit for punctuation/spelling/bolding and must note what you changed. Otherwise, you are stuck with it. The reason for this is because one person may see that post. And if one person sees it, then everyone is entitled to see it. It is now officially part of the game thread. No game communication is allowed with other players outside of the thread – except for wolves at night. Even if you are dead, please do not communicate with others in the game about the game until the game is over. It taints the sub pool. Voting You may vote, you may unvote, you may vote yourself. Only votes outside of quotes will be counted. The game will start Monday (7/23) between 7am and 8am. Kbar will be helping me mod. Please don't try to lynch him. As many of you might recall, it was one year ago that I was kidnapped by pirates - taken from my home in Pogglesport. Lying between Nassau and Barbados, Pogglesport has always been a quiet and serene setting for me and all of its’ inhabitants. My kidnapping was obviously just as traumatic for the Pogglesport citizens, though, as they were not able to rescue me.
On Day 1 they mistook the man with magical powers for a pirate and killed him. So traumatized by this, they started spending their time writing haiku. Seriously – how was that suppose to rescue me??!!. Every day they killed off a villager, threatening terrible physical violence to each other and themselves. It was horrible. At one point, I was even accused of faking my own kidnapping. Eventually I had to steal a car and plan my own escape. I have heard the pirates are headed back to Pogglesport in hopes of capturing me again. I thought about running away and hiding. My first hiding place didn’t work out so well. I realized once I got up there….I would have a real hard time getting down, if I needed to make a fast escape.  So I went and talked to my therapist…..  ….and ultimately decided to stay in Pogglesport. And, although many citizens were so traumatized by the events of last year that they moved away - a large group of students from POGGERS High School are on the island visiting. They have pledged to help keep me from the pirates. I sure hope none of them die in their efforts. IT IS STILL NIGHT

So, when I woke up this morning, I went out for a ride on Kyrorse.
 But I couldn’t get him to come to me. He was clearly afraid of something. When I walked into his corral, I saw something in the corner of the field eyeing me.  This can’t be a good sign………….. GT is away all day. He will not be able to post until tomorrow. FCBL is also away all day. He will try to post today, but may not be able to. IT IS DAY!!!

Okay, I can handle pirates being the bad guys, even though pirates really are awesome. But...

Chuckles, you and Durron go check out the attic, Shorty and GetThere can see what's going on in the second floor, and I'll go down into the basement by myself to see if I can get the lights back on...
