Dan Haren goes tonight for Oakland against Steve Trachsel. Baltimore is awful, but so is Oakland's lineup. Haren is awesome but overrated IMO. I've got money on the Baltimore RL at -115, and I think I might add on to the ML before gametime.

I had the o/u set last night at 3 Oakland hits before the game started. Sigh. Tonight will be better for them, but no way is Baltimore this big of a dog.

Thoughts?

I'm actually just the opposite. I would be on OAK -200 but that kind of wood just isn't my taste. I might go RL or -2.5 before gametime. Oakland is better in pretty much every category. Trachsel is a total dog.

What price can you get on the -2.5? I would be very surprised if it weren't the best bet of the three.

Ugh, maybe I don't like it the best. I really don't like any of the positions on Oakland tonight. What about the over?

I took Balt thinking it's a slight EV play here. I hate Trash but I think Haren's just barely above a mediocre pitcher.

Obviously the A's are the superior team but is Haren really worth laying something like -210? I hate laying 2.5 points on a game with a point total of 8.0. I'm hoping to see Balt +1.5 (-110) pop-up before game time. Otherwise I'll settle for Balt +1.5 (-115).

8 hits, 2 walks through 4+ innings. Trachsel really does suck. This one is looking up for anyone holding Oakland.
