a c/r is not too bad here, even though this flop helps his range. a c/c basically announces our hand as a draw.

edit: not that we should always be trying to c/r here.

against a normally loose player would you c/c as well or do you say this because of his stats? i often c/r my flush draws.

if your plan is to stack him when you hit i don't think this is the flop you want to be c/ring because it hits his range hard and when he 3bet shoves you're going to be forced to call but usually against a pretty big hand. if you DO want to c/r this flop then i like making it to $15. it will do a couple things if you make it that size.

#1 it will give you more FE and let him know that he's playing for stacks
#2 it will leave you with about a PSB behind so you can shove turn with a lot of FE

i like a B3b better on this flop/stacks because he should be raising a bunch of hands if you lead into him but he should be folding a decent amount to a 3bet shove. we have a bunch of equity if called anyway.

if he flat calls your flop lead then you'll almost for sure have to fire the turn.

For a tight tag, I think we're good to call this for a UTG raise. A raise is better for a late position raise, and I'd raise closer to pot if I do c/r.

Just about anything works here, it's really just a question of how often we do it and against which opponents and their pf position. c/c, bet/3bet, c/r.

My default is to NOT call this pf unless I'm running hot or know my villain stacks off easy. OOP with a suited connector, even the very best one, is marginal at best. Give me a third player in and I'm calling everyday and twice on Sunday.

If I do call pf, then I'm playing it small ball and seeing a turn. I can steal on a lot of rivers, reeval turn if I catch (especially if I hit the K outs). And generally not get too invested with a marginal hand.

As played, I'm torn between continuing my bluff or c/folding to anything significant. The uber-blank on the turn makes me want to chk it against a half-way decent opponent because I think we'll see a raise/push now. He probably doesn't have a draw because it's the Ah out there.

Then again, he would've pushed top two or any set if he's any good. so the best we can put 'em on is AK too.
