Re: So Simple I\'m Almost Embarrassed to Post It
Check behind turn call, any non-broadway river card...
The minraise by an unknown normally means monster AA/KK/QQ/ or big cards...AK/AQ...that have missed...I can't believe he's going for a check raise on turn...Part of me would like to bet...but the minraise pf worries me... |

Re: So Simple I\'m Almost Embarrassed to Post It
i kinda wanna make a weak bet on the turn (like 30ish) in hopes for a free showdown against this guy since he seems pretty donkish judging by his min 3-bet pre-flop. this keeps him from bombing the river and facing us with a tough decision where we'll very likely have no clue what to do.
can someone explain why this is a terrible/great plan? i honestly don't know how I feel about it, i'm just throwing it out there. |

[/ QUOTE ] That's a great plan and it works very often against donks like this. Against donks who will raise when they know they can't call, this is not such a good idea; unless you decide that you're ahead and want to induce such action. |

Re: So Simple I\'m Almost Embarrassed to Post It
Check turn and call safe river sounds pretty good.
Betting doesn't look too good because we are only folding out weaker hands. By checking, we are using pot control and also potentially inducing a river bluff from missed overs. |

Check turn and call safe river sounds pretty good. [/ QUOTE ] i'd like this line if our hand was stronger. i mean, how many rivers are we actually going to like. the fact that almost all rivers are going to be ugly makes me like my block turn bet/check river line a bit more. |
