Taking care of your golf course.
Please be honest.

Re: Taking care of your golf course.
Always, plus others, usually (sometimes they self-destruct, then I use the mixture from the cart where applicable), always.
If there's a bunch of broken tees in the ground on a par-3, I'll pull a few of them out with a pitch mark tool and toss them by the tee marker, as well. I'm frequently dismayed at the pitch marks on the greens issue...seriously, how hard is it just to fix them? |

I take much better care of the greens than the tees or fairways.

Re: Taking care of your golf course.
Since I suck, I seldom leave ballmarks on the green , but for some reason I feel sick anytime I take a divot in the fairway, so I am incredibly anal about fixing those.

Re: Taking care of your golf course.
For some reason I am really conscientious on the putting greens. I always fix my ball damage and look for others to repair, not only marks that may affect my own putt.
Then on the tees/in the fairway I am a bit of a slacker. I think this may be due to that in my youth I rarely took divots. It is slowly becoming a badge of honor to repair/replace the sod after a good swing. Nothing amuses me more than hearing players complain about the condition of the course, then watching them play and leave all their marks behind. |

You should have added:
Do you rake the sand traps? I swear I find at least one and usually multiple unraked traps every round. |

Re: Taking care of your golf course.
I got reported once for not replacing my divots by an old timer who I later found out used to work at that very same course. Nothing happened but ever since then I've been much better about it.

Re: Taking care of your golf course.
Nothing is more frustrating than people who don't repair the ball marks on the greens. Also, most people don't fix them right, they pull the dirt up and leave dirt spots instead of pushing in the grasss from the sides. I usually fix mine and a few others around it or in my line.

Re: Taking care of your golf course.
On our course it's kind of a waste of time to replace divots because the crows flip them over looking for food...so the greens crew goes around every day and fills them in with sand (they don't provide sand except for on the tee).
