Curious: How many of you call this preflop raise here?
There is nothing special about this hand--but it is a common situation and so I wanted to know what most people do here.

Not OOP, in position, perhaps.

Re: Curious: How many of you call this preflop raise here?
In position is an easy call. OOP, I probably call here more than I should.

Re: Curious: How many of you call this preflop raise here?
I might call if UTG+1 is a supertard who'd pay me off if I hit the flop, or call the flop c-bet with anything and give me good odds on a draw.
You didn't mention how CO plays postflop. Does he stackoff with any overpair? A lot of 22/11 types do. Against people who overplay overpairs, I'm calling with a lot of hands here. But if you don't have a good postflop read on CO, and UTG+1 doesn't suck, it's a pretty easy fold. |

My standard is to fold. I would call if MP came along though.

Re: Curious: How many of you call this preflop raise here?
Normally, I'd fold, but a 22/11/12 will probably stack off if you hit. I don't think either play is bad, though.

Re: Curious: How many of you call this preflop raise here?
*Grunch*
I don't call. Yes, there's a chance that you'll flop a made hand (two pair or better). However, the most likely flop you're going to make is some kind of draw. I don't play drawing hands OOP. If the raise came from the blinds, then I call. But not with a raise coming from the Cut Off. Now, considering that UTG+1 called, perhaps this is a good time for some of the better players to school me on the merits of having relative position over absolute position? |

I would fold JTs, from that position, to that preflop raise.

Uhhh..how does the other player play?
I think that is very very important information. Edit: UTG+1 obviously. |
