Another Beckham/Cruise bodog prop
Bodog is currently offering the following bet:
Bet On: Will Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes attend the first LA Galaxy game featuring David Beckham? Yes -200 No +150 Tom Cruise is reported to be in Germany filming a movie right now, http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/81662.html The Galaxy's next game is on the 21st. I'm not sure when Beckham will start playing but I'd guess it would be fairly soon. I also doubt Tom Cruise will be flying from Germany to attend the game making the no an obvious bet to me.

The OP's article does say that filming will start on the 19th. Surely they wouldn't film for fewer than 3 days in a row?
I'm on it for the max, and if Calvin Ayre is screwing me, I'm impressed. I'll tip my cap to him and hand over my $50. EDIT: Here's a gossip notebook saying the filming will last 70 days. I doubt Cruise will be able to bolt on day 3... variety And another: Katie is in Germany too, they would both have to come back... katie

[/ QUOTE ] exactly. i paused on betting this at first because it seemed to good to be true and i wanted to hear some resistance. but this is gambling afterall. it doesn't have to be a total lock when it's +150.
