Default Scotty Nguyen 100K fiasco?

Saw this post in other another thread here from a 2+2 guy.
Thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...rt=all&vc=1

Post:
Interesting story number one: I count my chips after day 4 and count1.15M. All of a sudden Scotty Nguyen starts counting them for me for no reason. I think "why is this dude touching my chips" he counts 1.15M as well. I bag them and show up the next morning with 1.05M WTF. It's possible that I miss counted twice and Scotty miscounted for the same amount, but I still don't know what the hell happened. I was really tired, but when you make day 5, you don't half hazardly count your chips. Something was weird."

I'm really suprised this hasn't been mentioned yet here as this is totally bizarre. Why would Scotty be counting somebody's chips for them? I love Scotty and it damn near broke my heart the way he collapsed only a few spots from the final table, but this is outlandish behavior.

I can't see him doing this because the risk far outweighs the benefit. If he got caught doing this, I'm sure it would be an instant disqualification costing him hundreds of thousands as well as having his reputation completely destroyed forever. I give him the benefit of the doubt but wtf was he doing counting somebody else's chips?

At the end of the day when you bag your chips some tournaments require someone counting them (as a witness) but he shouldn't be touching them

Perhaps, as I'm a pretty dim bulb, but I'd be suprised if somebody on here would knowingly call out a well liked 'pro' like that. JV didn't come right out and call Scotty a thief and a cheat, but we can see it's implied.

Excellent use of the term "half hazardly."

palming 100k in chips when I think the largest denomination in play at the time was 10k, possibly 25k, would be quite a feat.
