25NL - misclickament puts me in an odd spot

villain is a maniac who has been playing back at me..calling my pfrs with a very wide range...donking me like this or floating me or raising my c-bets..but rarely just folding to a c-bet

he is 45/26/12.0

my minraise was a misclick..meant to raise to like 7

errr..I am clueless about the rest of the hand..the river call was mostly a tilt call from being raped by this guy for the past 15 minutes or so [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Yeah, the misclick sucks and puts you in a tough spot. His range after the river probably consists of Ax, busted flush draws and straights, so I just grit my teeth and call. I'm not sure about betting the turn, I would probably lean towards betting.

No you don't. It's certainly close and I'd probably fold as most players who bet pot at this level have something. As played bet the turn.

i'm just basing it on his description of villain. against anyone but a complete maniac, its a fold (note hero basically put the results in, making it easy to say fold)

ehhh....I'm not so sure about a call. If we put villain on an A then there are 6 aces that beat us and 5 that we beat. If we expand his range to include 22, 66 or some random two pairs we are crushed. I probably couldn't do this at the table, but I think it is a fold.

I also think hero should have bet the turn. With position we can either fold to a check raise on the turn or we get a cheap showdown on the river. Checkin the turn allows villains to bluff us off the hand.
