Villain is a very solid regular, stats say he is 22/20/3.5 over a good sample Comments on preflop (do you 4bet?). I felt quite lost on the turn. edit: I believe the turn check is bad. b/f would be better, eh? |

Re: nl 2/4, JJ vs fishyfishy, deep
He would have bet the flop with the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] mostly (regardless of whether that's actually good or not). I call down.

Re: nl 2/4, JJ vs fishyfishy, deep
If he's a decent player he will be checking the Ad behind alot on that flop (especially if his other card is unpaired). Admittedly its a perfect bluffing line with total air for that reason (give up on flop then rep the nuts on suitable turn/river) so if he's really good then maybe flip a coin...

Re: nl 2/4, JJ vs fishyfishy, deep
Also, preflop reraise size is pretty bad IMO, especially this deep and OOP. IMO, you should be reraising a good bit more than pot to 60-64 in this spot (100BB stacks and OOP from blinds my standard is 54-58.)
Given that, I'd say he's much more likely to have a premium hand since you gave him such good odds to call PF, and he still decided to bump it up PF. Postflop I like how the hand is played and would fold the river. |
